The KHC archives include a substantial collection of Kemsing related artefacts and memorabilia which have been donated over a period of many years and are available to view.
Some of the most recent additions to our collection of Kemsing related artefacts are listed below: –
- 171 – Oar from the Kemsing Scouts summer camp at Hunton in Kent, in 1978.
- 172 – 20th century military button made by Firmin & Co.
- 173 – Iron grapnel made by a local blacksmith. Probably mid 19th century and believed to have been used to recover items from wells. Made by an ancestor of Malcolm Oliver who donated the item.
- 174 – Lead token found behind Crowdleham House.
- 175 – Book of matches commemorating the opening of a new extension at the St Edith Working Mens Club in 1969.
- 176 – 1930’s Post Office savings bank money box.
- 178 – Three terracotta masks made by Allen Bryant.
